Oh yeah. It's moreso serious life threatening allergies. They are much less prevalent in farm kids. Something about early exposure helping the body get used to unknown substances. So even if the allergies exist they are less likely to be severe.

I live in a city with cottonwoods that didn't exist near where I was raised. I hate them, my eyes get so unhappy during cotton season 😭🫩

Oof! That's a rough one. I should've read the thing instead of skimming πŸ˜‚. But yeah, the keeping your kids away from peanuts and peanutbutter until they are over a year or two was a terrible idea. We did little tastes of the big allergy foods as soon as he was eating solids and monitored for rashes πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I had a co-worker who's child had peanut allergies. They fixed it by slowly introducing them to peanut products, under supervision of their pediatrician.

Great parents!

This still works for adults. My epipen friend got over it by micro dosing. Also with doctor supervision. It took long but he finally got to enjoy peanut butter.

Exactly what they did, yes! That kid loves peanut butter now πŸ˜‚

Wholeheartedly believe in this
