I cared a while ago. But now moved my development to a beefy VM running in my garage (cooected to UPS and auto backed up via proxmox). Replaced my laptop with a mini PC. So far so good.

It gets painful sometimes like yesterday.
ZFS alert said replace faulty disk (m2 mirrored unfortunately not hot swappable). It turned out to behind 2 GPUs. Damn it! Down time! Ok, done.
While at it, let's move it from Google WiFi to PfSense. Done.
While at it, let's move it to the rack. Done.
Power up. Fix chrome remote desktop. Update AI inference endpoint IPs. Back to coding. Oh no it's midnight!
