One of the most surreal things you can observe on Nostr is how many anarchists support someone literally raining bombs and drones down on other people's homes, so that they can march in and claim the property because the people in the house are dead or have run for their lives.

Like, I didn't realize that territorial wars of conquest were part of that whole anti-government ideologie, but okay.

Tbh, this describes almost every Weltführer (Word leader) in one way or another….

really? I've never seen anyone supporting this here, in fact I see a lot of people against israel

Didn't hear you speak this passionately about Venezuela, or Yemen , Syria etc.

War rhetoric heating up in Germany?

Can you define what you mean by support in this case?

Say that they think it is okay to solve problems that way or actively cheer it on.

I don't know, if they have fully thought their opinions through, but you can't both preach that government is illegitimate _and_ that governments should be able to send standing armies to conquer their neighbors. I regularly see them taking sides in national conflicts, rather than saying the only principled thing (according to their principles; I am obviously not an anarchist):

1. Both sides are inherently illegitimate.

2. They should have no standing armies to send.

3. They should have no governments to send the armies.

4. The existence of national governments is the catalyst of the war, as individuals would not be able to wage war on such a broad scale, even if they temporarily banded into a militia.

5. Both armies should be disbanded and the governments shut down. That would be the only real and lasting peace deal.

My general impression — that I have had for quite some time, now — is that a lot of so-called anarchists are just against _western_ governments; not government, in general. They're just larping as anarchists on the Internet.

So.... you're saying that these anarchists would be perfectly fine with the current government in North Korea or Stronismo/Francoist Spain in the last century?

I think your impression is off here. I’d suggest to ask this/these anarchist(s) you seem to have an issue with to figure out if there’s a basis for your assumptions before throwing LARP accusations around.

🤔 Yes, perhaps I am wrong. Perhaps they didn't notice how one-sided their criticism has been and will surprise me with more balance, in the future. Or I misinterpreted their reasoning.

We'll see. I will point it out, so that they can explain their reasoning for me, if it happens, again.

Otherwise, I admit that I have judged them too harshly.
