Wait, what? It says this came out in March of 2014?? I've literally never heard of this movie. How is this even possible?? Was this movie ever actually released? Has anyone seen it? I've gotta find it.

And it's Directed by Dennis Villanueva?? Seriously, how is it possible that's I've never heard of this?

So you know the director style. SO GOOD 😊

It's not streaming anywhere. But I found a torrent and it's downloading now. I'm bothered by the fact that I've never heard of it. I really should have heard of it. Fortunately, I just bought a fresh box of Orville Redenbacher, so I'm watching it as soon as it's done downloading.

I was also surprised. Not like you! But yes, surprised because Jake is a remarkable actor and because his movies are good, we tend to look for other materials of yours and watch them. But this one ran away from the radar. From me!πŸ˜€

I pay attention to movie release, which is why this is so odd. It's not available on any streaming platform, and it's never been recommended to me by any suggestion bot. It's like it's been purposely kept from me until now. But not for long! My torrent has about 90 minutes left. Watch, I'll get down to the last block and the download will hang.

I'm about 30min into this movie. It's very reminiscent of Alfred Hitchcock. Weird AF so far. The yellow filter is making me quesey.

Ok I just finished this movie, and WTF?? I don't get it. Why was there a giant spider in the bedroom at the end? I feel like so many questions were left unanswered, and instead all we got was a giant spider. I'm so confused.

I just found this explanation of the movie. Apparently, it's one or two pegs more metaphorical than I was anticipating. Let me know what you think about it.

When you find it … go in fresh. That’s what I did and truly … fell in love with the movie in its entirety. For me: it’s a modern day classic. Definitely worthy of rewatches.

IIRC every woman in it is amazing too.
