"Staying above the drama"
Without the "the drama" the is no mechanism to close the information gap in Bitcoin.
For the information to proliferate down to less knowledgable bitcoiners, it is essential to have poeple like Luke and Mechanic, that right or wrong, are willing to take the time to explain the downsides to proposed changes.
Exactly 👌🏾healthy debate and even controversial voices are crucial in Bitcoin. Without people willing to dissect proposals and highlight potential downsides, knowledge wouldn’t trickle down, and the network couldn’t evolve safely.
That’s a really good perspective I hadn’t considered. Even as a non-dev, the conversation around Core / Knots has really helped take my understanding of BTC deeper
