I think a problem with many progressives, is the lack of thought they put towards the meaning of force.

Something I ask my leftist friends all the time is "would you be okay with killing or putting someone in jail, if they refused to abide by the policy you champion?"

For example, if someone refuses to pay for your abortion program, universal healthcare, national daycare, ect, would you be willing to ruin their life for it?

I know that if someone steals, rapes or kills another person, I have no problem with the state using force on them. Fuck those people. But I have a real big issue with putting individuals in cages for refusing to be coerced in funding something they don't want to.
