great initiative, but is this to generate a picture to share, or s link? I tried it, but it's unclear to me how this would be used.
The QR code is a link that people can “scan with their camera”. In real life, you hold your phone up or print a sticker or something (with the QR) and your friends will scan it on their phone to open a new browser with your personal Nostr invite page.
THAT invite page (where your friends land) has your customizable message and a streamlined experience for friends to “create a Nostr profile”. One screen later, and they “will” land in a DM chat thread with you.
The point is to make it easy for you to onboard YOUR friends to Nostr. We are making the better tools. This is just the beginning.

Cool initiative. What about the text "the privacy respecting social network that nobody owns.
On Nostr, your profile, your friends and followers, and the content you create will only ever be owned by you". I think it's not correct as it depends on the Relays, clients and so. Also if the event is using encryption or not.
