The sheriff made a statement on Feb 9th. Which is why it is popping now. The incident happened on Nov 12, I presume that is acorn season in Florida? I would guess the Feb 9th statement was due to the investigation being completed OR, the release of the footage being compelled via a lawsuit. It’s much easier for something to go viral when there is a video.
