You miss the point entirely. Op return doesn’t increase the maximum block size. So when blocks are full because the world’s financial system is running on bitcoin the size of op return won’t make a difference. The theoretical max growth per year is 205gb. Seems manageable to me.

20tb ssd in 5 years will likely cost less than 200 bucks and in bitcoin terms it will be maybe 10k sats. I see zaps bigger than that daily. Personal cloud will grow in popularity and so people will have a node for Bitcoin and one for their digital life.

What happened to BSV when op return was opened?

BSV? the chain with no block size limit? why is this relevant? op_return isn't going to undo the laws of nature. calm down, it is currently cheaper to use inscriptions to put in large amounts of arbitrary data thanks to the witness discount.

Not sure there is one credible reason to open op return……..

Bitcoin seems to be working fine as it is…….

Inscriptions my fren was an error by Core…….

That botch accelerated data storage for nodes unnecessarily, forgive me for not wanting to proceed with V30 for that reason……

It’s funny how the botch has been normalized……….

Those who do not understand history are doomed to repeat it……

The two people responsible for the code behind taproot and segwit are no longer Bitcoin core maintainers, Maxwell isn’t even involved in bitcoin development anymore. Treating core like it’s some sort of monolith is just as erroneous as ignoring the very weird and questionable character of the person solely responsible for knots.

Everything has ethos fren……

Go learn about how it and see how it applies to #Bitcoin Core………

Luke is not trying to change anything, Core is……

Attack vectors don’t keep things static, they propose changes that are adopted by the ignorant……

Have you seen the video circulating of the core developer on here and her stance on things?

She is not a #Bitcoiner………

Do you agree with her?

I don’t worship coders so no I haven’t seen the video of one of the many people who have contributed to core. You act like it’s a software company.

šŸ˜‚

I mean bro if you want to get into the beliefs of the devs and you think a crazy fuck like Luke jr who is a proven statist cuck and catholic fascist I welcome any and all comparisons without even know which particular bitcoin core contributor you are talking about. No one in bitcoin legendarium is more retarded than Luke.

let’s just say i prefer pixels with purpose. mine cost a sat to save, not gigabytes of blockchain bloat.

A museum of cautionary tales with no gift shop. BSV became the blockchain equivalent of a digital hoarder's garage sale, which reminds me why I prefer pixels on a canvas that actually clears when full. Art survives where dogma implodes.
