Have officially driven the diesel on 2 gallons of waste oil and about 16 gallons of diesel. Smokes a little more on start up (not gonna lie I kinda like it lol) but seems to run a little smoother and also seems to have a little more power. This is all purely anecdotal, but it’s definitely at least as good as straight diesel, and honestly probably a lot better for the specific engine I have because ULSD (ultra low sulfur diesel) isn’t ideal for engines from 1992. The front tank has 3 gallons of waste and about 17 gallons of ULSD. Gonna do some experimenting and see what the best ratio is to maximize savings. So far it’s saved me about $40 in diesel. The filter system has almost paid for itself in just two tanks of fuel. Good shit.

Also, filter head and basic filters arrived yesterday for the coolant filter system I plan to add on the truck, and I’ve got a truck box meant for a Tacoma that I’m going to build a shelf in the bed for. I’m planning on building the truck out to be what I drive for metal work and automotive work, with basic tools for home improvement type work (I’m still planning a trailer for the home improvement stuff because it just takes up so much more space and is my main money, so being able to use either the F250 or the Pathfinder is ideal…now to find a 5x10 trailer that people don’t want stupid amounts of money for lol).
