Damus will not translate the note if it thinks the language is one of your preferred languages in iOS settings. Also, if you’re using DeepL, you need to sign up for a DeepL API account and put the API key into Damus settings. #[4]
We figured it out. Needed to sign up for an API account and add the DeepL API key in Damus settings.
