I've never been able to form deep friendships with dudes. Always the peripheral friend, but "bro-less" my entire life.
Weirdly enough, I never had a problem with female companionship--romantic or platonic. I'm even married to my best friend, which is incredible.
Such a strange position to be in.
I think I just admitted to women being less complex to me than men, which is kinda fucking insane.

You've shared a lot of your personal stories publicly most of which describe lonely toil earlier in life. Have you tried toiling with a dude? Toiling in tandem is a great way to build broship.
I lacked a lot of that in my youth, and it's hard to just pick that up as an adult. My dad spent most of his time working at his restaurant, and the time I spent with him when I was younger was through working there (started at 11).
I mostly grew up around Greek women, so the traditional female gender roles are what I'm more comfortable with. Explains why I enjoy cooking, cleaning, and even spending a lot of time with my daughters when they were babies.
I would have happily been a stay at home dad, but I worked second shift so I could be with them most of the day.
