Same, my oldest is about to be 4, she like books a lot. But now that I am working at home, I defoulted to put her a kids program on my laptop in order to make progress at work... big mistake.

I was trap in that loop for 2 months, then used christmas for a hard reset, now no movies , no screen. She is back at super happy and asking for books again.

💯. We only ever let ours use it when my wife and I need a break, or some uninterrupted time to plan or just sit in each other’s presence without interruption. With four kids and another on the way, it’s our little cheat, but we definitely have to pay for it on the other end. My kids are animals after using a tablet, phone, or laptop for any amount of time.
