NGO's are something that the wider public don't really understand.

If they did, they would probably be pissed that their tax money is being given to institutions whose sole purpose it is to lobby the government into telling the people how awful and nasty and stupid they are.

In the first instance, it is verbal misdirection to call these institutions 'non governmental', when the hand that feeds them is almost always, the government (with stolen money of course, the government doesn't actually produce anything of value, and so they have to steal from people who do if they are going to give it to people who don't), with very few exceptions (the ones that aren't government funded are almost always funded by some sort of shadowy source like the Soros Open Foundation or Project for a New American Century or similar, very little of it is grassroots at all, but sadly, this is the impression that most of the general public have of NGO's).

The correct analogy to explain the NGO scam, is that governments and the cretins that comprise them, use taxpayers moneys to create sock puppets that they can use to promote agendas that would otherwise attract 'heat' from the voting public.

most countries lot of politics than actual work by ngo

Sounds like the type of shit Vivek would wanna shut down. It really is a shame that you don’t have anyone that is actually based and smart in government.

As they say C students hire A students and B students work for the government.

Unfortunately, the thin gruel fed to the public by the cut-out popular media has them believing that any organisation with 'foundation' it its title must be virtuous.
