Anybody knows the word/s for the following concept - in any language.

Concept:

When the perceived value of something is affected, either positively or negatively, by its context and/or how it is stored. Specifically, it's place of rest or storage.

For example, an ancient, rare book stored in two different environments. One version is on an Ikea shelf on the corner of a dingy, smelly room, closed, on its side and dusty. The second version, that same book is on a glass casing, open for display, on a thick wooden polished table as the center piece of the room. The item in question is the same but how it is stored and the environment it finds itself in modify the perceived value of that object.
