A system like this will only suppress dissent and encourage conformity, and especially advantage the rich. Any such utopian 'ideal democracy' eventually devolves into an anarcho-oligarchy.

if first, how is in different from real world there ppl with certain qualities (i don’t say if those qualities are morally correct tho) get more than others? if second, how does nostr make it worse? 🧐
Oh, I don't believe that nostr is worse than any other option. It's just that this reliance on " crowdsourcing sats for 'niceness' " will ultimately either 1.) Suffocate dissent or, more likely, 2.) channel dissent into acceptable pathways, thus co-opting and neutering it.
