AI is just an editing tool, it's not a replacement for an artist.

the same old shit with a new veneer will not sustain the interest of people for very long. sure, there will be always the pulp fans who don't care, who already were susceptible to subscribing to the most cheaply produced, poorly written cliche riddled garbage, but these poor sods are not the majority of buyers of media.

so, don't worry about it.

i used to want to write fantasy/scifi also, but it's not a business you can casually enter into, no different to anything else - you only make money out of it when you get into the top 10% of effort and hours under the belt.

the thing that would really change the game is if people were healthy and lived routinely into their hundreds. then we'd all have the time to indulge more than one or two dreams.
