And the US alone ( mostly elderly and non tech savvy ) loose 23B $ a year to India based scam call centers , when is this going to be stopped ? Something needs to be done

Tariffs lol it might just be the only language that gets through because until India gets serious about fixing its own house, it’s either turning a blind eye or enabling the problem. Either they take real accountability, or maybe the US or multiple country fund a dedicated task force of ethical hackers to neutralize these scammers
And within india , I think they need some major effort in ideology to eradicate these messed up values

Lol, you can't avoid scams at a system level...you can only educate people to not being scammed.
My mom is always falling for crap like this and then my dad has to stop her from giving out personal info🙄😮💨. It'll never stop.
Promote critical thinking, education on how money works, lower the time preference of people.
