No specific time. This is after 100's of interviews with libertarians, conservatives, progressives and trying to consider how you make things better.
I think Libertarians are morally right but their ideas don't seem to gain traction enough to make a difference. Mike Brock pointed me in the direction of Otto von Bismarck - âPolitics is the art of the possible, the attainable â the art of the next best.â which was the basis of the argument I wanted to put together.

I agree with the sentiment of the quote. But my sense was a lot of Mikeâs arguments against libertarianism can be boiled down to âwho will build the roads?â
I don't think those were his arguments, I think they were more left wing ideology and fear of a Trump administration.
There were sections where he was arguing against there being widespread corruption in govt, and against âdraining the swampâ. I think he also directly critiqued libertarianism at some point.
