Decided to leave London. What's happened in France will happen in the big cities of the UK soon. The writing is on the wall. It's overpriced now and not the city it used to be. Too woke.

*the city is not what it used to be
I just left the UK. I think you honestly better off out Western Europe.
I remember you asking for recommendations a few months ago. Hope you're enjoying wherever you ended up.
Yeah, I think Western Europe if pretty f*cked tbh. The people have zero will and are the most woke in the world.
I am in Alberta, Canada of all places. Cost of living is about the same as I was paying in Scotland but you get benefits of being next to the Rockies and very nice summer weather. Also, cowboy province rich in Oil and Gas with a conservative/libertarian majority atm. Anyway, I been living in Calgary for over a month now and feeling much more optimistic about my future. In Scotland, I generally just felt stuck and was never going to leave the rat race.
Nice. I travelled through a bit of Canada a couple of years ago. Passed through Calgary and went to Whistler, Alberta and Vancouver. Great country. The cities are woke AF though so stay in the countryside.
I'm in London currently but from north east England originally. Don't fancy staying there for the winter tbh.
True.
I think if you just stay away from the eastern the big provinces like Ontario, and Quebec. Its actually not that woke. Western Canada is much more affordable than many realise because of the oil industry.
Anyway I will try it out for next 12 months. If it becomes commie shithole I will go to Mexico haha.
France is a beast of its own! Would hesitate to extrapolate it to London.
True but London had riots in 2011 and it's changed a lot - not for the better - since then. Besides, I'm sick of it tbh. It's not as good as it used to be and more expensive.
