Dunno who you're referring to, but as a general thought, collectivism always starts with:
"People should..."
"If only everyone..."
It's childish and naïve to seriously consider that everyone can act according to your wishes. Ironically, you can then walk right into the trap: "No one should think like that!"
This is a whole lot of what's going on in the past 24 hours. I'm sure it will blow over, but, this is a possibly poison seed that needs to be excised before it takes root and leads to more fiat mindsets taking over.
Take responsibility for yourself. Be accountable to the truth. Notice how you react to things. YOU take offense. If something moves you to be ugly, then you're the one who becomes ugly. Don't try to force others to change with daft emotional collectivist drivel.
