"People should..."
"If only everyone..."
It's childish and naïve to seriously consider that everyone can act according to your wishes. Ironically, you can then walk right into the trap: "No one should think like that!"

Collectivism is gross. A strong community with a shared value system will only consist of those with mostly same value structures. Collectivism oppresses everyones individual liberty to guarantee equality. Strong communities can allow for individual liberty of people in the community.
Yes. And I see too many people with collectivist bents.
