There are both web and mobile native client alternatives to Primal that are pretty feature-packed and don't do KYC. I've tried Primal in the past, and understand that the overall UX is pretty tight, but I can't see a reason to not use others - Especially when there are so many things Primal just does wrong (no nsec/bunker signing, KYC wallet, no logout option, etc) . Snort, Amethyst, noStrudel, Iris, Coracle, etc are some alternatives.

You can avoid KYC on Primal if you don't activate the Primal wallet. On Android we support NWC where you can connect to Mutiny or any other NWC wallet. That option is not available on iOS due to Apple restrictions. AFAIK no other iOS nostr client supports zapping, so the options on iOS are: zapping via a KYC wallet or no zapping at all. Primal gives you both of those options.
