Ooh that's one I haven't heard. Makes total sense but my take is it's layered, that may also be part of it. Glyphosate is number #1 offender in my book. The way I heard Dr. Zach Bush explain it 7 years ago made total sense. I believe this is the presentation:

Yeah I completely agree on the glyphosate part too. Def a “perfect storm” of taking away beneficials and adding in toxins.
The CBD link only occurred to me when I read the 2024 research comparing THC and CBD effects in autists. THC creates almost the stereotype “reefer madness” in autists and CBD has beneficial and prosocial effects and can actually counteract the THC, like if someone accidentally ingested too much.
And from the farmers side, the THC is the last cannabinoid to develop in the flower so the grazing animals would have certainly been taking in much more CBD and CBG just from the nature of the plant. Fascinating.

Any cannabis or hemp farmer I know doesnt let cows graze their garden though.
Yes it was growing wild and the gov made a huge effort to eradicate it all.

Just putting this here for the curious - they keep painting Bobby as anti-vax so folks on the “left” don’t stop to hear him out on glyphosate, which they never even mention lol people are starting to catch on though. I pray we recover from Uncle Sam and lean into Mother Earth for healing.

Yep and we made paper out of it and fabric. We used to print currency on it. George Washington grew it at Mt Vernon.

I can try to find the source again - but basically all the colonists were required to grow hemp by decree because it was such a multipurpose plant. At that time, almost everyone was growing it for the fibers, and the fibers get tough when the plant goes to seed, so they chopped off the buds and flowers early and used them as animal feed to preserve the fibers. It also self seeds very easily - you might say it grows like a weed. Haha.
