While this appears gritty or “cool,” this culture the bar has stolen from us anyrhing but.
This saying was actually a BRAND tattooed on trafficking victims. They used to come into county jail wearing it.
Do better. 
Wtf really? Is there a chance the bar owners were unaware?
They were probably ignorant. But they knew enough to glamorize “gangsta” culture, which is not without victims.
They were likely unaware of the trafficking angle—this specific group that uses that brand does so along the I-35 corridor in the Midwest.
I hope trafficking survivors approach them and ask them to do better. My guess is they won’t change. They were going for gritty here. 🙄
This is exactly how the devil comes to people. This bar is doing well.
I will just never find this cool. For reasons I cannot share due to the vow of privacy (HIPAA and 42CFR) I took when I worked in the addiction field.
