Is there a way to see the age of an account?
You would have to look at their first posts. βAccountsβ are private keys so the concept of age would be when it starts sending out activity to relays. Use something like https://www.nostr.guru/ to figure that out.

oh stupid me. I thought the check was the NIP-05 verified account. I was really thinking it wasnβt working for me until I checked against other clients and used https://www.nostr.guru/ for good measure.
