YES. WE ARE DOING IT RIGHT NOW.
FUNDAMENTALLY BITCOIN CANNOT BE EASILY CORRUPTED AT THE PROTOCOL LEVEL.
EVERY OTHER SYSTEM WE RELY ON AS A SOCIETY CAN BE EASILY CORRUPTED.
