That will require some money tho. Idk which will be costly laying fiber cable in the sea or drone in the sky. Either way we need permission right?

If only we had a long range cheap connection devices, like fm or something and make internet out of it.

permission? for what?

To deploy drones in sky, airsapce violation, and even in space requires permit, they got some international agency to monitor that.

Need to research more tho.

SkyMesh subscribers can permit drones above their homes. with extremely long-range LoRa antennae and incredible line of sight (yer in the sky, bud) as long as you have a decent subscriber density in an area you wouldn't have a problem.

That is a nono. The old saying of whoever owns the land owns it up the heaven and down to the hell, is gone, we gave it up i suppose. Now there are countries who will give you air airspace control upto immediate enjoyment or effective enjoyment of the land. We can argue that drones and internet falls within this enjoyment criteria.

Permission is required either way in us uk too, move a bit higher, its airspace, property of the state.

If we are to operate in the lower zones above buildings etc, why go with drones? Just stick the antenna on top of a long stick aka a tower.

How far up from the building is the drone tho? 200 ft? Also see my edited comment above.

They get a discount if they commit to 6 months and let the drone drop a persistent solar antenna on their roof

you're hired as head of business development or whatever.

excellent idea

Am I? Wonderful, in that case we will also offer blackjack and hookers to extend our runway to profitability

It's a good idea because blackjack and hookers require no product development, only blackjack and hookers. Instant revenue, leaving more time for real product development
