Great read and I agree with most of what you’re saying. However, the government likely won’t even go to your home and force you to hand over your key. It isn’t necessary. The 3rd key is held by another custodian that they can easily request it from. Going to every single unchained customer’s home to get their keys is a lot of work. Demanding unchained and the 3rd party custodian to hand over all their keys and data is much easier and gives access to all funds held by all users.
