What ways do you use to 'think less'? for eg meditation and or chanting helps me a lot to lower the anxiety and lower the volume on the ol'think box 🙃

Absolutely! In last months I started some breathing exercise in the morning, 15/30 mins trying tondo whenever I get the time and don't wake up too late.

Before music helped a lot, and also I am a weed smoker, but that doesn't help anxiety alone, instead can do the opposite if your brain and thoughts are stuck to the same overthinking patterns, but it does help, if you can break them, to concentrate on breathing and inner introspection and proprioception..

I find my anxiety is 'smart' in that after some time of doing one particular method it becomes less effective so I need to come up with new ways or ways I haven't done in a while to carry on the benefits. Tricky game! I haven't done breath work in a while but I should revisit. Weed takes me in all sorts of diff directions other than calming but Mushrooms and Ayahuasca seem to work for me.

thanks for sharing your experience! I too did find out that I cant reach the same level of concentration and benefits, but everytime it helps, and being constant raise the average of benefits.

never tried Ayahuasca, and mushrooms only a couple of times but for totally different purpose 😅👀
