You can do it!! Cinnamon or allspice, a bit of milk, a splash of vanilla, and some eggs and you're good to go! Some people soak their bread, I don't like it soggy so I just do a little dip on both sides and throw it in to the skillet with the melted butter. Low heat so it doesn't scorch ๐Ÿ˜’, but make sure the skillet is hot so you get a good sizzle. Then it you just cook it til your favorite toastiness. I'll gently press the spatula on it so the middle is touching the skillet but I'm not smooshing it flat. Thick sliced bread works well.
