I know for the purposes of business it's common to post the same thing multiple times for multiple timezones. That seems reasonable to me.
Without any sort of algorithm I think reposts are sometimes necessary otherwise interesting notes are easily missed. I have noticed though that some people repost their own notes a lot and I’d personally prefer not to see as many reposts in general..
