Wireless connections (bluetooth, wifi, radio...) are working through broadcasting, sending messages to "everyone". So in this sense, if you dont trust bluetooth, you shall not trust wifi either.

But of course, if you use https (aka ssl), you encrypt the content what you send, so even if someone is evesdropping, wont see your content.

This can be done via bluetooth either.

That would make sense. I still wouldn't want to walk around advertising myself in public 🤷 not to mention the constant radio broadcasting against my body in my pocket.
