Are you sensitive lot ok accepting that without privacy in bitcoin, it has failed as P2P digital cash? Monero wims hands down here. Does this mean I lose interest in bitcoin?....no because liquidity is so deep and with tools like atomic swaps to navigate around it.

I'm bullish that #ecash and improvements to lightning will improve privacy, especially for the P2P digital cash usecase. Combined with avoiding KYC this should do the trick 🤠🤙
Big hurdles to get over with bitcoin not having privacy at the protocol level. But I do hope for better solutions as you mentioned. Only time will tell. Oh and always non KYC 😉
Too bad ecash isn't self-custodial. Major property of Bitcoin.
it baffles me how many lightning nutjubs are gleefully throwing self-custody in the garbage. what is going through their heads? any system that doesn't have 100% self-custody is completely against the point of bitcoin.
To be fair as much as I'm not into it I can see a place for it. There always has to be some trust somewhere in life and of that is in with your own circle then that's ok. Also most people still use fiat bank accounts so it can be kind on contradictive
