Here’s a sad reality of our current world…

First, it’s all by design. There’s a reason they don’t teach us about money in school.

My dad worked in the credit union for 40 years and was not aware that money was backed by nothing.

They don’t teach them about money they teach them to sell their products.

I minored in economics in university and had no idea that our money was backed by nothing.

I agree with you. It’s up to the parents to teach the realities.

You are right Maria schools never taught us nor my parents. They work hard to earn money to pay for our school tuitions.

This is exactly what I've been telling my wife. (She's currently pregnant with our first)

I feel that as soon as our little boy can say "money" he's going to start learning about finances and bills. Obviously I'll Taylor the lessons for a two year old, but still.

As a parent it is my job to prepare them for adulthood. I can't do that by protections them from everything.

I have two little hodlers. We talk about value and money often. My 10 yr made his own diceroll generated wallet.
