if there won't be a significant amount of stretch needed for the bottom hem, you could probably get away without using the zigzag and just use a straight switch and stretching the fabric a bit as you sew.
I figure itβs probably safe to assume the baby could stretch stuff as she crawls around, so Iβll just play it safe.
