The thousands of small tiny leaved plants are all Miners Lettuce AKA Claytonia, tastes like lettuce, no bitterness that I have ever discerned, frost tolerant, good source of vitamin C and spreads like a weed. I did not seed it this year, this population is from letting it go to seed for two years of cut and come again. It is surrounding my French Sorrel
