Not really! More poor yes, but people are more friendly and more welcoming than those in Europe!

It depends where in Europe and North Africa you are. On the beaches of some places in North Africa, robberies with firearms sometimes occur.

Never heard of that in Morocco, Algeria or Tunisia.. except maybe Libya and you know probably why!
