Decentralised algorithm hosting and you choose what version of reality you want, rather than having it imposed.
Otherwise we're back to tyranny of the minority again, but with immutable record that makes wayback machine look amateur.
Then Nostr will always have 10k users.
It will not scale into pure chaos. Algos help with that.
Again, it doesn’t have to be tyranny if we’re thoughtful about building one.

I don’t agree. Algo is maybe just the only solution you can imagine now but there could be others like personal custom filters. Everyone could curate their own feed. Decentralized 💜
Ok. What’s the difference? There I’ll need to be a “core user” setting for those filters.
I am not a dev 😅 can’t tell the difference. But it gets me thinking…. Will let that sink in and see if something comes up =)
Fair. Bottom line is we will need filters, algos, whatever to help onboard a core audience. Otherwise we flounder, there’s no way around this.
It’s time to have the ethical conversation about this instead of being ostriches with our head in the sand.
