Americans, your government gives the square root of eff all about you. They do care about the military industrial complex greatly though because it enriches them without them needing to put skin in the game.

Representative democracy seems to be complete bullshit to me at this point. I’ve always head the excuse that we can’t have direct democracy bc people are too ignorant to vote on things directly. But what we get instead is congress people lining their pockets and passing laws left and right that I can’t imagine the majority of people would actually want. We really get no say in whether to fund a war, go to war, how much to fund the IRS and other 3 letter agencies, drug laws, abortion laws, all the SEC bullshit. I’m always hearing about new laws being passed that I’m like, wait what average citizen actually would have wanted that or voted for it? I know Biden doubled the IRS budget, I can’t even imagine the majority of average liberal people wanting to give the IRS twice as much money to harass them. Same goes for the recent amendment allowing the US government to spy on American citizens with no warrant that passed with 50% in congress. Are 50% of American citizens really okay with that if they voted on it directly? Somehow I doubt it. Pretty sure we don’t actually have much say in anything.

I fully agree with you.

Tried to zap you let me know if it didn't go through it's not showing on my end

Got it, thanks!🙏🫡

I had typed out a long reply to your statement, then hit back and lost it lol. Clearly it wasn't that good. Okay glad it went through

Makes you wonder why they killed the version that had something/anything in it for the border. 🤔

yep
