It's so crazy that my boy was bothering me this whole time as I was having my meal, but I wondered where my girl was...
And the moment I started eating the corn, she showed up haha.

one of my cats loves bread, and will jump up anywhere to get it. my other cat will eat just about anything he gets his hands on. he loves rice

A friend used to have a cat that I witnessed pick a vegetable out of a dish of some chicken stir fry. Even though cats require zero carbs, a study was done that if given options of protein and carbs for food, cats will very consistently consume around 12% of their calories from the carb option. And this was found in both house cats and strays.
Or if the cob was slathered in butter maybe it was just that she wanted.
