You know you live in a failed city when the community needs to organize to perform the duties that the city is expected to do with your taxes.
You know you have the wrong city leadership when they don’t prioritize tax dollars to do what citizens are having to do on their own.

I’m sorry man. It sucks. I moved East of Seattle long time ago but I recall how much fun it was to live there in the 2000s
I was in Seattle ‘07-17 and at that time it wasn’t horrible. seems like it changed a lot during the whole CHAZ/CHOP thing and never really recovered.
