would you like to help? dm me and I can give you any log you ask for

I would like to help you but unfortunately I am not close to my computer. Go to Bitcoind.service file, copy the content of ExecStart and run it directly from console. it should give you better insights of what the problem is.

will try this and report back

also ensure that no other bitcoind process is not running. or hanging there, if so, kill'em all.

I went to where bitcoind was and ran it and I got back "bitcoin core starting"

this is a good symptom, once you ensure that no more bitcoind process are running, paste the content from ExecStart in the console and run it. if you want it to run in foreground, remove -daemon from the command. otherwise it will daemonize itself.

it could take some time before you see the process fully running.

I run it but I just get "bitcoin core starting"

and that's it

what's the output of "ps -ax | grep bitcoin" ?

1903 pts/0 S+ 0:00 grep --color=auto bitcoin

few questions...

can you show me the screenshot of bitcoind.service .

also, df -h is disk with enough space?

is this Ubuntu or Centos? selinux disabled or allowing this process to run?

I don't think anything is wrong with the service file. It was working fine. I'll take a screenshot though. Plenty of storage, and Ubuntu server

Yeah, the service file looks okay. I was just checking for errors on this and found this one that seems to be related. which version are you running?

https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/issues/21699

Check you messages I explain when I started having problems. I don't think it's my Ubuntu version.

I think I'm on 22.04.2 though

is the lnd service running?

Lnd won't run because it's dependent on Bitcoin core
