Because I can contribute and build on it instead of being a passive user. I also think I'm helping Bitcoin by creating apps that use Lightning and nostr.

I feel free here, reminds me of my early internet days and gives me hope for a better future. There are huge challenges ahead and I'm not happy with the state of many things but the protocol has insane potential.
