They only offer gold as a solution but they can never give a good reason why gold won’t fail again.
There's definitely some disconnect somewhere.
Maybe "digital" scares them away. Some think all digital is bad.

There’s this strange idea that assets and money need to have intrinsic value or be backed by something. The truth is that value is subjective.

I would say the energy spent to mine Bitcoin is what gives it real value.
