ADHD people are just gifted. Every person is different. Why labels?

Yeah that's my journey.

Called gifted, special, strategic, creative... also absent minded, daydreamer, lazy, useless... it's a tension I lived with.

Labels are bad if they stick and become identity, otherwise they're stepping stones to help us name, frame, and explore a particular area.

Tiago Forte had this conference about building a second brain (note taking) and one session was given over to 'neurodivergent', basically three high functioning adults with ADHD talking candidly about their world... and a light went on for me... leading to yet another rabbit hole of discovery.

I'm more than ADHD, more than WARY (widowed and remarried young), more than a professional engineer, more than... etc, but I can't deny these things make up part of my experience and therefore colour my identity in some way... even if as a bridge to something else.

Hey, thanks for the âš¡

Here's a video from the session I mentioned. Jesse does a good podcast too.
