I would use another wallet like Phoenix or Blue to swap on-chain to lightning and then transfer to alby.
Thats what I do but this is for a new user. They are trying to use Alby and im not sure what to answer here.
Im not an expert on Alby... I agree on other users that you can use Phoenix and then send to alby from there... But there is another suggestion which is to use Boltz! -> https://boltz.exchange/

We had swap service, but temporarily it is disabled. There is few places on the web where you can 'swap' and send bitcoin onchain but receive in Alby lightning 😉Boltz, Robosats...
Muun wallet is another option, but it costs more per transaction. Phoenix is a good option, but costs sats to open.
