Where we are going, we don't need no DNS 🙃
In nostr everything gets routed from note or user ids. Those can be sort of made human readable my mining it.
POW is the only possible decentralized name system since it does not rely o Man but on math.
I'm more thinking for things like the hosting of websites..
I fully agree with what you've said, just wondering how that'd work, and whether there's anything in development already.
You can host websites fully on nostr without domains: https://github.com/vitorpamplona/nostr-web-server
This would just require building browsers or browser extensions that could understand this and use note ids to fetch content and navigate hyperlinks.
