One issue is that they fix things themselves upstream but sometimes only partially and we have to drop our superior fixes and then reimplement it when we realize their approach is incomplete. This is the source of some call/text UI regressions. GrapheneOS users far more heavily use this.

We made it possible to have a Private Space within secondary users. This will be very difficult to do properly since the whole UI was designed to have one.
Secondary users are getting better but there are still a fair bit of user switching SystemUI bugs and call/text bugs.
