This is really interesting idea. But something tells me it will be pain not worth the benefits - not in my country, where this will be probably quite expensive and functional just for a few months in a year🤔

In continental Europe, solar panels are *maybe* practicable in the south Iberian, Apenine, Balkan peninsula and in the Med. Running the numbers is required vs grid.
In “sunny” Germany they are expensive virtue signaling fenceposts.
If your goal is independence from the grid, and resilience then this is a based matter.
no one considers maintenance costs.
or the cost for the electrical system.
much more than just the panels.
